Goldsmiths Design Presents: Yuki Uebo

Yuki is one of the few students who are exhibiting at New Designers. Here are some images of her work.

Famously Anonymous

I am interested in how a designer can trigger public interactions, by creating products that respond to people’s psychological and behavioural patterns. Can designers encourage new forms of communication in public? I have been exploring the effects of performance devices, such as the Anonymous Singing booth and the Public Guitar, aiming towards an understanding of how anyone might perform comfortably, and engage with an audience, in a public space.
